The concept of marriage, in our modern western society, is one that mostly symbolizes love. I’m still learning every day what love means to me. Having spent several years with my partner, I’m being taught a lot about this idea. I know what I want it to look like and what I need it to feel like. This union is about two souls acknowledging their connection in this universe we exist in. It is, at least to me, a spiritual matter. Two souls coexisting and connecting on a deep, primal level. Love is an energy that connects everything. Marriage is a great example of that.
